HarborFest at Old Whalers'

Old Whalers’ Church has been a very important part of the history of Sag Harbor. We will celebrate HarborFest at 9 AM this year with an enlightening architectural tour of this National Historic Landmark given by well-known architect Randy Croxton - there will also be a demonstration of our pipe organ-the oldest working pipe organ on Long Island-by our master musician, Walter Klauss. This will be followed by a historic service which will include “The Voices of Old Whalers” past- with folks speaking the history of pew owners in first person- historic hymns and a celebration of our rich past. Following the service there will be a complimentary coffee hour and then at 11:30 a very information tour of the Historic Old Burying Ground next to the church with Zach Studenroth and Kurt Kahofer.. This is not to be missed- you will walk in the footsteps of the Old Whalers’, be inspired by their tenacity and integrity, join in historic hymns and feel the spirit of Sag Harbor old and new! Please join us!
