Dinners/Gatherings for Eight
What is dinners/gatherings
for eight? It’s a time for the Rev. Christopher
and congregants to get together for an informal meal, to learn more about one another
and talk about possibilities for
the church. Dinners for eight will start
in April and continue in May. So far three dates have
been set. If you would like to participate
please sign up for one of the times. There
will be lunch time and dinner time opportunities. Please sign up in the social
hall or call the
church office and Allison will slot you in.
Please try to select a time slot with members who you
don’t socialize with on a regular basis so you can get to know others in the congregation
better. If the time slots fill up we will
be adding additional dates and times. The
scheduled dates are April 18th
(6:00pm), May 9th
(6:00pm) and May 16TH
at 12:00 noon.
Please Note: The dinners for eight is a gathering that takes place at the church. The meal is provided by Rev. Christopher. There have been many questions concerning hosting, meal preparation, etc. Hope this clarifies the set up of there gatherings.

Volunteers wanted for the 250 Celebration!
We have many events happening to celebrate our 250 years as a congregation. Some of the events include: Movie nights on the lawn of the church, Organ Concert Series, Special Raffles, Dinner/Social Evening, Party in the Park and several other family events. Please start thinking of where you might like to help out and get involved. It's going to take all hands on deck to make this a huge success!
|Pastors Notes - Posted On: Monday, January 4, 2016|
We have many ways for everyone to get involved and participate in the life of this great Church. We are always in need of ushers and liturgist, singers for the choir, as well as committee members and host for coffee hour (even if you just want to provide a special treat or snack). As we begin a new year, please consider how you might like to become involved in the many opportunities we have to serve. New sign up sheets are available in the social hall for coffee hour host and for providing flowers for the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings. Thank you for all your help!
|Daily Devotionals - Posted On: Thursday, January 14, 2016|
Are you looking for a daily on-line devotion tool for 2016? Check out the Presbytery Mission Yearbook at www.presbyterianmission.org or d365.org for some great material. The Presbyterian Mission site has interesting articles from different parts of the world talking about the various mission projects that the PCUSA is involved with. D365 is a site that will take you through a meditation on scripture each day and it even provides the music. Both sites come highly recommended. We also have Our Daily Bread Devotionals (in print form) available outside the church office each month.
